Sarah joined Animal Hospital of the Sierra in 2005 after graduating from the S.J.V.C. Veterinary Technician program and became a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2010. My special interests within veterinary medicine are dentistry and lab work, and she says her favorite part of her job here is the feeling she gets when a sick or injured pet is well enough to return home. She also loves the family atmosphere at the hospital.
When she’s not spending time with her “work family”, Sarah loves spending time with her family, which includes her husband, two kids, two dogs, three cats, four fish, a Russian tortoise, and a hermit crab. She also enjoys video games, hiking, and sketching.

After working as a kennel tech in summers during her high school years, Cherie joined Animal Hospital of the Sierra in 2015. She loves fact that she can be involved with people, whether coworkers or clients, who love animals and care about their well-being. She says she’s proud to be part of a team that does their very best to make the the well-being of your pet a priority. She enjoys being on the front line where she can be of direct help to patients and families, easing their anxieties and making their experience at our hospital a positive one.
Cherie shares her home with three dogs and six cats of her own but also rescues, fosters, and rehomes pets to give them a second chance. When she’s not working, Cherie enjoys spending time with her family and in nature.
